The - T single coil pickups are a hybrid of Tele or
Strat sized pickups married to the construction of a P-90. This wonderful union produces a less focused, warmer sound
than a traditional Tele or Strat pickup. But don't worry...you won't lose any of your articulation;
in fact, with a hand made Tex-Tone in your guitar, you will be amazed at how your volume and tone controls will come
alive. You will no longer have to worry about your tone going muddy if you want to turn your guitar volume down a bit,
and you will have 7/8ths of your tone sweep that will actually sound good!
*Model-TC is a modified version that
has less output on the unwound strings, allowing "chicken pickers" a much more balanced overall output. |

The Tex-Tone humbucker is a vintage spec pickup that will give
you about any HB sound you could ask for. With today's high gain amps and effects, it is unnecessary to wind a pickup
ridiculously hot. A Tex-Tone handmade humbucker wound between 8k and 10k will give you sweet, clean sounds that sound every
bit as good as it does running through the lead channel of your Dual Rectifier. It will also turn your guitar's volume
and tone controls into tone shaping tools instead of just another on/off switch. |
